Our self-built studio goes by the name of Barracão. Don’t expect quietness there. Don’t expect tidiness. Don’t expect orderliness. Expect loudness. Expect chaos. Expect experimentation. Barracão is a raw, analogic laboratory where monsters are created. We come close to Dr. Frankenstein, patching up and stitching down (presumably) irreconcilable pieces of different bodies. The only difference is that we work with people’s souls instead. This is where we sew Reggae with Cumbia, Funk with Indian Folk, Brazilian Samba with Afro-Beat. This is where we invite creepy, freaky and grotesque folks to. This is where our music takes place. The result? Our monster is called groove. Barracão is where it’s born.
